6 Day Desert Tour starting from Marrakech to Casablanca

Following breakfast, we go into the highlands and cross the 2,260-meter-high Tiz-N-Tichka pass. We go by to see the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. After seeing this magnificent walled settlement (Ksours), known as the Kasbah, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we go to Ouarzazate. Dinner and stay at the hotel.

Following breakfast, we will go to Merzouga, passing by the highest oasis in Morocco, the Gorge Todra. The location is breathtaking, with an incredibly blue sky, and you can take in the stunning natural beauty of red and mauve rocks rising over the road. We'll keep moving in the direction of Tinjdad, our lunch stop. Before reaching Merzouga, we will have the opportunity to observe several oasis along the route, including the Hamada, the Ziz-Tafilalet green oasis with palm trees, and the Tinjdad oasis. In the midst of the Saharan dunes, you will ride a camel and spend the night in a furnished desert tent.

One of the greatest views in the Merzouga desert is when you get up and see the dawn over the dunes of Erg Chebbi. After breakfast, go through the Azrou Cedar Forest and the Ziz Valley to Fes. You'll be entertained by the monkey colony you may observe along the way there. As you journey through these woods, valleys, and mountains, you will have plenty of opportunity to stretch your legs as you stop for coffee, lunch, pictures, and more coffee. We will arrive at Ifrane City, the Switzerland of Morocco. Drop off to your Riad / Hotel in Fes.

You will begin your exploration of Fes, dubbed "the Sprititual City of Morocco," after breakfast in your riad. The whole morning will be devoted to strolling around the Medina and its narrow streets, taking in the majority of the historical and cultural landmarks, such as the world-famous Al Karaouine Mosque and University (the oldest in the world), the Medrasa Bouanania, the Tanneries, and the Najjarine Fountain. Following lunch, we'll take you for a trip outside the Medina to view the Royal Palace gate, have a stroll through "the Mellah," the Jewish neighborhood, and finally stop at the pottery cooperative. We will take you to one of the strongholds in the afternoon so you can have a breathtaking overview over Fes's whole Medina. Spend the night in the same riad.

We will go to the Volubilis archeological sites after breakfast. The ruins provide as a superb illustration of the several civilizations that formerly called Morocco home and are still evident in the nation's contemporary cultural customs. You will be able to go around this ancient site and investigate the remains. Finally we will get at chefchaoun and you may opt to have a brief stroll to examine the white and blue washed walls of the medina and the marketplaces that offer some unique local handicrafts.. Will be at your Riad for the night.

You will have time to explore the azure Pearl City after breakfast at your riad. This marks the conclusion of your 6-day desert tour, which began in Marrakech and traveled across the Sahara Desert, Fez, and Chefchaouen, to Casablanca's airport or hotel.
