A Desert and Imperial Cities Tour During the span of seven days This cultural, northern, and desert excursion commences in Casablanca and includes visits to the three regal cities of Morocco—Rabat, Marrakech, and Fes—along with the renowned northern jewel of Chefchaouen. We shall traverse the historic cities that emerged during the imperial era, characterized by an elegant fusion of conventional and modern architectural designs.

From Rabat, with its Royal tombs and Palaces, to Fes, the oldest imperial city and the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco, with its labyrinth markets and the beautiful, colorful souks, to the Sahara desert to experience a camel trek and sleeping in a desert camp under the stars, and finally to Marrakech, with its beautiful souks, gardens, and cultural sights.

We will be awaiting your arrival at the Casablanca airport in order to collect you up. Following your arrival in Casablanca, we will transport you to Rabat. The largest mosque outside of Mecca is the Hassan II Mosque, which is located in Casablanca. You will visit the Oudaya Kasbah and the Hassan Tower en route to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, before settling into the riad that will be your place of residence for the night in the heart of the Medina.a.

After having breakfast at your riad, we shall proceed to the city of Chefchaouen, en route which will include a stopover in the town of Asilah. Along the coast, the majority of the journey will be spent in motion. You will have the opportunity to explore the city during our initial halt at Asilah, which will serve as our primary destination. As part of the annual artistic festival in the city of Asilah, a diverse selection of renowned painters from around the world have adorned the majority of the walls comprising the Medina.

Your tour will take you to the Skalla stronghold, which offers a breathtaking panorama over the Medina and the water below. You will try to fit in a drive through Tangier if there is time for it so that you can get a sense of the city. After that, you will go to Chefchaouen by traveling via the lower slopes of the Rif Mountains.

After having breakfast at your riad, you will commence your excursion to Fes, an urban center renowned for its spiritual significance in Morocco. Upon your arrival in Fes, an exploration of the city will commence.

You will spend the whole morning touring the Medina and its lanes; seeing most of the buildings of cultural and historical importance, including the well-known Al Karaouine Mosque and University (the oldest in the world), the Madrasa Bouanania, the Tanneries, and the Najjarine fountain.

Following lunch, we will drive you outside of the Medina to view the entrance to the Royal Palace, then we will take you on a walking tour of the Jewish district known as "the Mellah," and finally we will take you to the pottery cooperative. We will pick you up in the afternoon and transport you to one of the strongholds so that you can get an incredible panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes.

You will depart your riad for Merzouga after breakfast, en route which you will pass through Midelt and Errachidia. Ifran, frequently referred to as "Switzerland of Morocco," shall be the initial location on your itinerary.

You will proceed to Merzouga via Midlet and the Ziz Valley from that location. You will be presented with numerous opportunities to observe both the Middle Atlas and the Higher Atlas mountains during the course of your excursion.

A pause will be observed in the renowned cedar forest, the largest in Morocco, where the possibility of spotting Barbary primates exists. We will reach Erfoud by vehicle, passing through hospitable Berber communities en route, and then proceed to Rissani, the origin of the Alaouite dynasty, the current ruling royal family of Morocco.

You will promptly embark on a camel excursion upon your arrival in Merzouga, which will be guided by an experienced camelman and provide you with the opportunity to explore the desert dunes of Merzouga. Dinner will be served at our desert camp, where you will also spend the night. Flush restrooms have been installed at the campsite to ensure your comfort and convenience.

Early in the morning, your camel guide will rouse you so that you may behold the most breathtaking sunrise of your life. You will then return to the town of Merzouga on foot, en route which you will be unable to avoid the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes and their breathtaking beauty that alters with the passing of the sun.

Following breakfast at your riad, you will travel to the Dades Valley and make a stop at the Todra Gorges, which are the tallest and narrowest gorges in all of Morocco.

Following lunch inside the valley, you will have the opportunity to go on an optional hour-long stroll through the fields. Along the way, you will have the chance to visit a historic mud village, where you will also have the chance to meet residents and learn about the culture.

Continue on into Dades Valley, where you'll get the chance to witness magnificent sand castles as well as the incredible rock formations known as "monkey toes." Your hotel, which looks out over the Dades valley, will be the place where you spend the night.

After having breakfast at the hotel, we shall proceed in a Dades Valley-encircling direction towards Kalaa M'gouna and Ouarzazat.

After dinner, you will be granted the opportunity to meander through the renowned Jemaa El Fna plaza, where musicians, snake charmers, storytellers, and other street performers will provide entertainment. Consider spending the night at one of the local hotels or riads.

Marrakech, colloquially referred to as "the Red City of Morocco," can be explored in the morning following a brunch served at the riad.

The itinerary will include visits to the majority of Marrakech's cultural and historical sites, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Palace of Bahia, the renowned Jemaa El Fna square, and the Koutoubia Mosque.

You will then pay the Koutoubia Tower and the new city of Marrakech a passing glance. In the evening, we will convey you directly from your hotel to the airport, where your flight departs. Your journey concludes upon arrival at the airport. (Casablanca International Airport).
