A 3 days trip to the Merzouga Desert from Marrakech is among our most requested holiday itineraries. Our magnificent vacations will typically commence in Marrakech, one of the most populous and renowned cities in Morocco, before venturing into the desert for exploration.
However, along the route, we will pass by a number of awe-inspiring locations that are certain to dazzle you. Kasbahs, the fortified settlement of Ait Benhaddou. Moreover, this will be one of the significant domains under investigation. We will additionally pay a visit to Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate.The Todra Gorge and Dades Valley will be explored. We will make camp in the desert of Merzouga for the night. We will arrive at the Berber pavilion via camels, where we will have a memorable evening stargazing into the night sky. Our 3 days trip will commence in Marrakech and travel to Merzouga. We will be picked up at the communities along the route by our driver-guide following brunch. Known as Ait Ben Haddou, the initial destination is a halt along the route.
Lawrence Darabie (1962), Bandits (1981), Gladiator (2000), Alexandre (2004), and Kingdom of Heaven (2005), to name a few, were filmed in the fortified Berber Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.
You will have a brief glimpse of the Kasbahs of Taourirte and the picturesque Dades Valley before proceeding to the Hollywood of Africa, where you will visit the studio of Ouarzazate and the Kasbah of Taourirte. Before our hotel, you will have the opportunity to explore the valley.
We will continue our voyage to the Sahara desert after departing the Dades valley following breakfast. As we traverse the precipitous, picturesque canyons along our route, we shall be treated to a breathtaking panorama of the most expansive valley of palm fronds in Morocco.
We shall pause for lunch at a nearby dining establishment in the midst of the day. A pathway fringed with palm trees leads to the vast Sahara desert of Merzouga. We will prepare to embark on a camel journey to Berber shelters amidst the dunes that offer a spectacular vista after spending the night in Merzouga's desert.
After that, upon your arrival at the camp, you will retire for the night in a comfortable Berber shelter after taking a shower. in order to enable barefoot exploration of the area while strolling on the flat sand. A delectable Berber dish will be prepared specifically for dinner.
After supper and breakfast, we will conclude the evening by dancing beneath the stars while performing Berber music on drums. You must unwind before the following day, which will be extremely hectic.
In the early hours of the morning, we must eat breakfast, photograph the sunrise, and have brunch. Following a shower at the hotel and a camel ride back to Rissani (the capital of dates), we will travel to Bomalne Dades via the Draa valley, Alnif hamlet, Tazarine tower, and Nekoub's Kasbahs.
