Tour of Morocco 8 days spent traveling from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga. You will explore so many wonderful places in just 8 days and two nights of travel. The Ait-Ben-Haddou Kasbah, Atlas Mountains, Ouarzazate, Dades Gorges, and Todra Gorges are among the highlights. In addition to the Merzouga Sahara desert and a few Berber-populated settlements, this region is home to a large number of Saharan villages.
This adventure includes a camel ride in the desert. Be there to see the stunning dawn and sunset over the Sahara. You will also visit the town of Erfoud, which is famed for its quantity of fossils, and the historic market of Rissani. The 8 days Morocco tour begins with a pickup service from Fes Airport - after settling into your accommodations, take some time to recover.
Following breakfast, a guided tour will be conducted to learn about Fes' historical heritage. Throughout the voyage, you will get the chance to see a number of historical sites. Some of these include the Madrasa El Bouinania, the El Quaraoiyin mosque and university, the south tower, the pottery village, Nejjarine Square, the monarch's residence, and the Medina. An early wake-up to see the sunrise, After breakfast, we go on a 4WD off-road trip of the dunes, seeing the oasis of Merzouga, the nomadic repository, and Khamlia town.
We visit the Gnawa hamlet, listen to their spiritual music, and then move on to meet desert nomads in their tents, where we get a fresh perspective on life.
Lunch will be traditional food, followed by a return to your magnificent Kasbah hotel on the sand dunes for some free time before dinner and overnight stay. Merzouga Lake is not far distant and is home to many birds.
After viewing sunrise, taking photographs, and having breakfast, we'll ride our camels back to the hotel for a shower before continuing our adventure to Bomalne Dades.
Along the journey, we'll stop at Rissani, Morocco's date city, and Erfoud, Morocco's marble and fossil capital, to snap some photos.
Our first destination will be Toudgha Gourge, where we will have lunch, take a rest, see the beautiful view of the Berber communities constructed of mud located on the cliffs above the valley, and walk under a 300-meter-high cliff. Following that, continue till you reach Boumalne Dades.
Following breakfast, you will resume your day. You may get a behind-the-scenes peek at the making of many well-known films in Ouarzazate, which is known as "Moroccan Hollywood." It is highly worth seeing the historic Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Continue driving over the Tizi n' Tichka Pass, which has a height of 2,260 meters. Upon arriving in Marrakech, you will be dropped off at your hotel, where you will have some free time before spending the night. Accommodations at the Riad Noos Noos, Riad 107, or something similar.
